The Otago Finance and Accounting Society (OFAS) is a strategic initiative stemming from the department of Accounting and Finance at the Otago Business School. OFAS exists to serve the student body of the University of Otago, by extending their knowledge and capabilities in the disciplines of Finance and Accounting, in a manner that further develops their in-class studies.
 
We are passionate about the fields of Finance and Accounting, and as the largest academia-based society at the University we are able to deliver on our promise “to develop the future generations of Kiwi Financiers, Bankers, and Accountants”.

We run a range of events from networking to stock pitch competitions and pub quizzes.
